HOA Records and Documentation

This page contains scans of Centennial HOA documents from nearly its 29 year history. Much of the information on this website is derived from these documents. What they show is an extensive history of water intrusion issues from the very beginning; ongoing action taken by the HOA to study, repair, and prevent problems; and about $1 million in expenditures from Capital Reserves that were substantially funded.

The scans contain meeting minutes, correspondence, invoices, proposals, studies, budget statements, and more.

There has been no attempt to conceal or edit this information as there is no reason to do so.

As critical problems arose in 2009, the HOA paid a third-party to examine its records at the request of City of Aspen Staff. These documents were provided to City Staff who then cherry-picked excerpts and out-of -context statements in order to paint the homeowners as negligent and irresponsible.
